Grouping the two lines and duplicating three times.Repeat for the horizontal crop mark and check that the Y value is 0mm.Reduce the height of the line so that it sits ONLY between the red bleed and blue slug lines.Ensuring that this line is giving a true representation of the edge of the page you can check this with your X and Y values.Set this stroke to be 0.5pt and colour with Registration.Using the Line Tool (\) draw a vertical line that extends from the top edge of the page to the top blue slug line.Double clicking on the cross hair icon in the top left hand corner will default these back to the correct position.Ensure rulers are set at default x:0 and y:0.Zoom into the top left corner of your page.This is the image I came up with, I gave it to them yesterday when I went back to visit and they took me out for lunch and it was lovely to see that they liked it. However the response I’ve been having for these watercolour illustrations even from the very first one of Nina Pang has been great. Watercolours are by no means ‘comfort zone’ for me as every single picture I do requires a different technique, colours etc and I am still learning. ![]() I’m so glad that I was encouraged to experiment though because I discovered watercolours and now I hardly ever use pencil! Well my 3rd year tutor Tash told me… well, forced me in fact to experiment and NOT use pencil! I say forced because if she hadn’t insisted then I probably would have stuck to pencil. It’s crazy to think that little over 2 years ago when I entered into my 3rd year of University I was stuck in my ‘comfort zone’ of using just pencils to create my portraits and illustrations… occasionally using biro…. ![]()
